Those in the medical profession that have been gifted with abilities, when used with the true desire to heal others through their skills, are assisting and being guided by Spirit.
There are many other valid and productive types of energy healing. Spiritual healing is the most time-tested among them. From the first time someone placed a caring hand on another who was suffering, Spiritual Healing energy was born.

Holding trust in the body's
ability to generate its own healing energy is important
in bringing about healing.
"Ask" Spirit for your healing. Consider what it is that you need. Is it a physical, emotional or spiritual issue that you yearn to resolve and be done with? Set your intention for this outcome of your healing. Let it be known that you are open to:
"Allow" the flow of healing energy to be brought to your place of need. Those on the spirit side of life know how best to direct the energy flow for your course of healing. And together with your healing medium, you're asked to:
"Accept" these healing energies into your heart and soul, into your complete being. Know with your every thought that you are deserving of the healing energies that are with you. An endless reservoir of healing is available from the spirit side of life. In bringing about healing, spirit energy♥combines healing forces with the energy of the healing medium. This energy is conveyed to and received by the healee through the laying on of hands, or sent to a recipient as absent healing. This energy helps to bring relief and healing of undesired conditions.
Your intention for Spiritual Healing does not need to be confined to your personal self. Results from the healing energy flow can be forwarded to others as well. To a loved one (or a foe), for a situation in your life or to a condition in the world. The energy of your intention will be sent as absentee healing.
